Book a class or buy a pass

Open the class, choose a date under Dates, then Book (or Register if it’s free), sign in with your phone number or email, name each person coming, then accept the terms and pay. Your spots are booked as soon as your purchase is confirmed.

Step by step

  1. On the studio’s classes page, open the class you want and choose a date under Dates, then the button that names it, for example Book Wed, Oct 28. A free class says Register for that date instead.
  2. Sign in, or create your account, with your email or phone number: Quorin sends you a code. You’re asked for your name only if your account doesn’t have one yet. Signed up with a phone number? Add your email right there with a code: your tickets and receipts are sent to it.
  3. Name each attendee: one spot per person, up to 10 per order. The first row has your own name; Add attendee adds the next one, and the total updates as you go. The names are shared only with the class organizer, for check-in. Then choose Confirm attendees (Confirm attendee for one).
  4. On Checkout, read your order and the cancellation terms under it, check the box to accept the terms, enter your card and choose Pay (the button shows the total).

Choosing Pay holds your seats for up to 10 minutes while the payment goes through, and Time left to pay: shows the time remaining. If the time runs out first, nothing is lost: either your card wasn’t charged, or you automatically get your spots or a full refund.

Once it’s done, Purchase confirmed (or You’re registered) shows your order, with View your ticket (View your pass for a pass), Receipt, Contract and Go to My classes. A free registration has no receipt: nothing was paid.

What you pay, and to whom

The organizer sells the class: their name is under Sold by in your order, and your contract is with them. Quorin provides the platform and the payment. The price you saw is the total, taxes included, and it is charged in full when your purchase is confirmed.

Passes

Some classes that run over several dates also sell a pass. Buy a pass works the same way, one pass per attendee: your order lists the classes it covers under Classes covered, it’s paid in full at once, and each of its classes appears in My classes with a Pass label.

Classes that balance women and men

Some classes keep a balance of women and men. For those, checkout asks Woman or Man for each attendee, and refuses an order that would tip the class too far one way, with a message saying why. A date can also say that a woman, or a man, can’t register alone right now; a woman and a man together may still fit.

The first time the first row is you, your answer is remembered and suggested next time. To change it later, or choose Prefer not to say, go to your account: see Your Quorin account.

These classes have a waiting list for each date. When a date is full, or has no room for your order, Join the waiting list adds your spots and their sides to it; nothing is charged. When room opens for your whole order and isn’t taken by someone ahead of you in line, we email you and hold the spots for you, for 15 minutes to 4 hours depending on how soon sales close. Your waiting lists are in My classes, under Waiting lists: a held spot says until when, with Register to go to checkout, and Leave the waiting list takes you off. If you don’t register in time, you leave the waiting list and the spots go to the next person in line they fit, or back on sale. A waiting list can also close, for example when sales stop or the date is cancelled; your place on it then ends without an email. Offers come by email only, so joining needs a confirmed email address on your account. Passes have no waiting list.

ExampleTwo spots at $25

A Saturday class costs $25, taxes incl. (its organizer charges GST and QST), and you buy for yourself and a friend.

  • The first row has your name; choose Add attendee and type your friend’s.
  • Your order shows a total of $50.00, with $43.49 before tax, $2.17 of GST and $4.34 of QST inside it.
  • Pay $50.00 charges your card once, and you get two tickets, one per name, each with its own QR code.
